Software Project Manager

Job Summary

We’re hiring a self-motivated project manager who will be responsible for delegating to one or two teams of 4-6 junior developers. The successful candidate will work to ensure that all deliverables fall within applicable scope and are aligned to the project goals. They will also work to ensure that all aspects of the project are compatible and follow company policy and procedure, and provide mentorship to their teams. We are looking for a creative and dedicated individual who will fit with our collaborative culture. Job Responsibilities

• Create and maintain a strong understanding of project goals and requirements
• Ensure product quality
• Review team stories and tasks to ensure compliance with the SDLC
• Delegate project tasks based on junior staff members’ individual strengths, skill sets and experience levels
• Track project performance, specifically to analyze the successful completion of short and long term goals
• Use and continuously develop leadership skills
• Document and review team performance
• Provide mentorship and constructive feedback to team members
• Help resolve conflict, achieve consensus, and take decisive action as necessary

Required Skills

• Successful completion of any PM managed course
• Strong time management and organizational skills
• Strong communications skills
• Strongly Preferred experience with scrum boards and Git
